Yay!!!!! the week is finally almost over:):) I have been getting to bed late this week and combined with the time change, i have been one tired lady in the morning! As much as i like it being light longer, i really really really miss my extra hour of light in the morning. Now instead of it getting light at 6:30, the sun isnt coming up till 7;30:(:( since i get up a 4 thats over three depressing hours of darkness and on a super sleepy morning i need the sun to wake me up!
Anyway no more whining!! Its going to be 83 glorious degrees today and as soon as i get off, i am gonna workout legs and then “recover” by laying at the beach all day:) I switched shifts on saturday so i dont get to sleep in as much (just till 6:30 yay) but i get all afternoon free!! I might even go to the beach to get some shots of the sun rise. Since the gym is pretty close to the beach, its a quick little detour but it depends how fast i get my butt out the door. Theres also the little problem of finding my misplaced/missing camera which i wish i had to document yesterday’s antique shopping, smoothie deliciousness, Town Center browsing, and Chipotle veggie bowl beyond amazingness!!
Don’t wait just go read this now! Super good article about the perks of weight lifting verses cardio. Good info! If someone loves running, great! Go run your little heart out! But if you are only running for weight loss then you are sadly misinformed. Pumping some iron will go leaps and bounds beyond cardio alone!
